The Last moment
She could hardly breathe. The doctor was constantly pumping her chest. The small kid's eyes were full of tears. He was standing outside with his nose pressed hard against the glass of the I.C.U. His face had become red. He could not see his mom struggling to live. Unable to bear it any longer, he turned toward the corridor and his face brightened up as he saw aunt Holly coming. Holly was walking fast and as soon as she saw Tintin she started running to hold the little child in her arms
"What did the doctor say, Holly?"
"Your mom is fine, honey. She is tired and needed a break."
"But why isn't she talking to me? We can both rest at home."
"No, honey. She needs special care. You annoy her with your pranks. So let her stay here."
"No, Holly, I do not believe the doctor. Mom would nevr leave me behind at home to rest here."
Holly could not speak anymore as tears kept rolling down her cheeks. The moment was difficult for everyone. Emma was dying and there was no denying the fact.
